Nick, thanks for your valuable feedback, and it's great to have the point of view of an architect that lives next to the project. RVA came out with a project that keeps the emphasis on the power plant, while giving the developers a financially viable project. - Camille Chami (Moderator)

I live just down the road from Battersea power station, and I can say without doubt that it is about time something was done to save this great building.

As a practising architect, I have a soft spot for what has become a dilapidated mega structure, on one of the prime river front locations of London. Ever since it was listed, its been a battle to come up with a design and concept that would do the great building justice. Whilst I don't think this is the greatest design, I do like their treatment of the power station itself and I'm glad that it will be given a chance to live on!
