I am about to close escrow on 10.3 acres 10 miles S. of California City, CA. for $217.00 per mo, affordable..... I want to build a thermal mass Earth Ship house...As I will be living totally off the grid deriving power from wind & solar & an on sight methane plant. It will have to have a cistern in the basement to house the well and store water as I am too far from the fire dept. with a small barn & greenhouse I will be able to be comfortable...Will you please help me line up building and appliance grants...I have a producer who is interested in shooting the development of Earth Ship City, living off the grid for airing on PBS. I can be reached daily at 310-919-6006, I have SKYPE and a camera so we can video teleconfrence. I spoke with Kern County Dept of building and got an ok on building an earthship. I also want to give classes teaching people IT CAN DE DONE , TODAY...With corporate sponsors providing many of the things I will need in exchange for promotional consideration for appearing in the Doc that will hopefully become a TV series allong with a DVD how to series offered via PBS as a fundraiser for PBS we should do ok.
