Architects Russell Shubin, AIA, and Robin Donaldson, AIA, will sign and discuss their new book Live + Work (ORO editions), featuring 23 distinctive projects spanning 1998 to 2009. The event coincides with the Miracle Mile Art Walk, and the gallery will remain open for the walk’s official after-party

Why: To celebrate the publication of Live + Work

The elegant monograph opens with 195 pages of pure visuals, predominantly full-color photographs of Shubin + Donaldson’s innovative oeuvre, which draws on the intersecting vernaculars of Southern California’s cultures, landscapes, and traditions. The book’s foreword is by Thom Mayne.

Also on view, “Form Follows Intention,” a mini-exhibition of Shubin + Donaldson Architects’ work, April 10 to17
