Architecture, being an endeavor of human creativity, has made a place for itself within contemporary art by its use of forms and materials in a search to satisfy the senses beyond a mere shelter.
TEN Arquitectos, the firm founded by Norten in 1986, characterizes itself by favoring modernity and at the same time making use of tradition, both in small-scale projects such as furniture designs to entire living, commercial and urban spaces.
Along the way the firm has received numerous awards and recognitions that acknowledge its talent, such as those that will be on view in this exhibition.
