Trahan Architects - Holy Rosary Church Complex Print E-mail
Friday, 20 June 2008 03:08

Trahan Architects wanted to relay the spiritual atmosphere of the church complex through its architecture. The project is an honest exploration of form, function, natural light and materials, providing an engaging and profound study in sacred space.

The oratory is the focal point of its rural Roman Catholic campus, predominant by its unique placement and floating within the sacred precinct of a courtyard space.

De Rokade is a residential building created by Arons en Gelauff. It’s adjacent to the nursing and care home, Maartenshof, which has been extensively renovated. The apartments for purchase are intended for the “younger seniors”. In this way, Maartenshof can supply care to the buyers, without this care being visible to the outside world.

A very interesting interior where the combination of light, colors and textures contribute in filling the space and bringing it to life. The furniture with its shape and layout complements the architecture and reinforces its concept.

House “V” was designed in order to satisfy the needs of a family. Applying communication between the common and individual rooms, the facilities and functions of the space have been connected into a single unit that creates a comfortable living area for a family.
