SPACE was selected to design the new final departure lounge at terminal 2 of Mexico City airport sponsored by a recognized brand of financial services and credit cards.
The main challenge was to generate a symbolic multi-purpose space that fits the image of the lounge’s marketing sponsor. A specialized branding team was involved in this project alongside the architects to generate a hybrid product that fuses Branding and Architecture.
The design concept revolves around the definition of the brand’s "emotional promise", triggering a series of emotions while going through the space, a sensory experience, addressing all senses and arousing the emotions.
