Unity_01

The Unity building is a mixed use scheme with 15,000m2 of office accommodation, shops and parking plus 161 residential units situated slightly to the North of the Liver Building and enjoys spectacular views of the Mersey and the Wirrel beyond.

The building dissociates itself from its urban surrounding, with its non-monolytic form, an unusual treatment of the façades, and the oversized volume that tops the building, and is easily discernable within the cityscape.

The two towers of the Unity building serve as powerful complements to the waterfront silhouette of the famous Merseyside buildings, the Three Graces. The towers have now become symbols of the city’s renaissance for its year as 2008 European City of Culture – not least because this development contains the first new-build office accommodation in Liverpool for 30 years.
