Deadline for submition: February 29th, 2008

Design and architecture students across the country are getting a career-defining assignment from JELD-WEN this school year. The world’s leading manufacturer of reliable windows and doors is challenging college students to dream up what’s next for entry doors.

Contestants in the third JELD-WEN Student Door Design Contest will “Follow the Line to the Next Design.” This theme was chosen by JELD-WEN because all great architecture has a common thread, or line, that makes it compelling and enduring. Students are asked to find and express their inspiration for an entrance door design from their choice of architectural styles. Two grand-prize winners will each receive a $3,000 scholarship.
