Ambitious hotel marks Copenhagen on the international conference scene.
Recently proclaimed best city in the world to live in by Monocle, a leading lifestyle magazine, and hosting the upcoming COP15, United Nations Climate Change Conference 2009, Copenhagen insists on challenging much bigger world cities on the metropolis turf.
The ambitious and spectacular Bella Hotel will cement Copenhagen’s dawning position as a natural centre of international events.
Bella Hotel is the largest building work initiated in Denmark in 2008
and will be one of the largest hotels in Scandinavia. Its location
ensures direct access to the international conference and exhibition
venue, Bella Center, Copenhagen Airport and the historical Copenhagen
city centre.

Bella Hotel will be a unique landmark of Copenhagen’s new urban area,
Ørestad. During the next months two hotel towers of 76,5 meters will
raise to the sky, inclining in opposite directions with facades
breaking off during the rise. In this way both variation, a dynamic
shape and an unobstructed view from all rooms of the green meadows and
the sea is obtained. Top twist of one of the towers decreases problems
with turbulence in the flat, windy landscape, and a ground floor twist
of the other makes room for a clearly indicated entrance. The hotel
lobby is merged into the existing entrance lobby of the Bella Center,
making the hotel a true integrated part of the complex.

The four star Bella Hotel will accommodate all modern conveniences in
814 rooms, 32 conference rooms, 3 restaurants, sky bar, wellness etc.
The foundation stone to Bella Hotel was laid September 17, and the
first phase will be completed in spring 2011.
