LOS ANGELES, CA—Lehrer Architects announces the promotion of Nerin Kadribegovic, Assoc. AIA, to the role of Associate Director.  In this role, Kadribegovic is responsible for proper project management and providing leadership to ensure goals, objectives, and plans are effectively executed.  Additionally, he oversees Lehrer Architects’ Research and Development Room (RaD) on a daily basis.  RaD is an in-house workshop created for designers at Lehrer Architects to experiment with materials, create full-scale mockups, play with new concepts, and test ideas.
“Nerin’s expertise spans a variety of project types,” says firm principal Michael B. Lehrer, FAIA.  “His multicultural background and extensive travel experience have allowed him to develop an exceptional awareness of contemporary design agendas and social issues that affect the architectural design process.”
Since joining Lehrer in 2002, Kadribegovic has worked as a designer on such award-winning projects as the James M. Wood Community Center for the homeless, Norton Towers-on-the-Court condominium project, and most recently the Water + Life Museums—an 18-acre museum campus that celebrates the link between Southern California’s water infrastructure and the evolution of life.  He was also project/construction manager on the multiple-award-winning Lehrer Architects Office.
Kadribegovic earned his Masters in Architecture from the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc) and his Bachelor’s degree in architecture from the University of Utah.  He is a member of the SCI-Arc Alumni Association.
Lehrer Architects fuses effortless beauty and keen perspective into internationally acclaimed works of art.  Founded in 1985 by Michael B. Lehrer, FAIA, the Los Angeles firm crafts dynamic spaces nationwide.  The firm’s remarkable breadth—from award-winning commercial and institutional designs to residential and landscape gems—honors its guiding belief that excellent, conscious design creates happy and productive environments.
