Located in a diverdified borough within the

Hall Monaghan Morris’ re-development of Barking Central I for their client
Redrow Regeneration & London Borough of Barking and
Dagenham . The scheme comprises 246 one and two-bedroom flats
in two new six storey blocks sitting above the two floors of a totally
revitalised and extended library.
The Baltic Sea Comes To Life at Ozeaneum, as
Behnisch Architekten Completes the Oceanographic Museum. The
weather-beaten city of Stralsund on the Baltic Sea is humming with
excitement, thanks to the addition of Ozeaneum, the new German
Oceanographic Museum designed by Behnisch Architekten.
With its reflective metallic facades,
Sweden's Uppsala Concert and Conference Hall appears as a large, split
crystal. The vertical cleft in the building pro-vides the public with
access from two sides - from the old historical town and from the modern
and lively Vaksala Square.
The project is located in Split , the second-largest urban centre in
Croatia. Close surrounding and historical site of Firule area, the site's
location is within Split’s most enjoyable living, working and
recreational environments. Placed near an existing hospital complex on
Firule, and close to the sea and fresh air gives it even more importance
and value.
This housing complex integrates
affordable units into a larger development of market-rate, multi-family
housing. Irvington Terrace units address the street or embrace landscaped
courtyards to instill and encourage neighborhood and community
interaction.
Houses
The house is located on a floating home dock
on Lake Union, in Seattle. The city has a long tradition with floating
homes. The architects wanted to echo the spirit of the floating home
community, with a project that speaks to the promise of the future without
ignoring the community’s storied past. The site has a prime location with
great views towards Downtown Seattle to the south as well as Lake Union
directly beneath it.
The home gently rests on a knoll in a
neighborhood located in Scottsdale, Arizona. The east and west ends
are supported by steel columns, making the structure appear as if it is
hovering above the desert floor. The entry to the home is a promenade
enclosed by the walls of the 4-car garage to the north, and the walls of
the residence to the south.
This extension to an original cabin from the
1800’s is located on the shore of the lake Övre Gla in the nature reserve
Glaskogen in Sweden. According to Swedish building regulations an
extension is not allowed to exceed a maximum floor area.
